How much is my Pokémon card worth?
Finding out what a Pokémon card is worth is easy once you know what to look at. The fastest way is to scan it with your phone, but it helps to understand what makes a card valuable.
1. Identify the card: set and number
At the bottom of the card there is a number like 025/165 and the set symbol. The same Pokémon can be worth €0.05 or €200 depending on the set, the number and whether it's a special version (full art, secret rare, holo, reverse holo).
2. Check the language
The same card isn't worth the same in English, Japanese or other languages. Japanese cards have their own prices.
3. Check the condition
Reference prices are for Near Mint cards. Creases, holo scratches or white corners lower the price a lot, while a graded card (PSA, CGC) can be worth several times more.
4. Look up the real market price
In Europe the reference marketplace is Cardmarket: look at the trend price (what people are actually paying), not just the lowest listing.
The quick way: scan it
With PriceSpot you point your camera at the card and in a second you know which card it is, its language and its Cardmarket price with its history. Burst mode lets you scan a whole deck and see what your collection is worth.
